Henderson in top 100 places to live and launch 2008

CNN Money launched its 2008 list of the top 100 best places to live and start a business in the US. This year, the city of Henderson managed to make the list, squeaking in at number 98 (Henderson was in the top 20 in 2006). Several reasons were cited, among these were the accessibility of parks (per capita more parks than any other city in Nevada), good urban planning and city funded business coaching.

I Would Have To Agree - Henderson Rocks

I also believe Henderson is one of the best places to live and start a business. I lived in the Las Vegas Valley for 23 years and spent the vast majority of that in Henderson and Green Valley. There are a number of reasons it would out rank Las Vegas in addition to the parks. High on the list is the fact that Henderson allows licensing of Home Based Businesses where Las Vegas does not. It seems like it would rank higher than 98.

I love Southern Nevada but I moved on to a Greener Rain Forest Climate, what a change it has been.
