The Lakes - this older masterplanned community is located in the southwest off Sahara and Durango. The Lakes has a wide range of housing possibilities, which include apartments, condominiums, villas and detached homes. Most of the Lakes properties were built in the 1980's. Within the development there are both guard manned gated and non-gated tracts plus a gorgeous man-made lake as well as  extensive greenbelts throughout the Lakes community.

The Lakes is located directly west of the Las Vegas Strip south of Sahara Ave and north of Desert Inn. It is bordered on the west by Haulapai and on the east by Durango.
