Unlike other areas of the country, in Clark County you don't need a blood test in order to get a marriage license.  The marriage bureau is located in downtown Las Vegas, at 201 Clark Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89155.  You can also download a marriage application through the Clark County website.  The current fee for a marriage license is $55.  The general requirements to get a license is a valid ID, to be at least 18 years of age and to know your social security number for the affidavit of application.  Foreign visitors wishing to get married will need a valid passport, resident alien card or foreign birth certificate translated into english.  The wedding ceremony may be performed in any Wedding Chapel, Church or the Civil Marriage Commissioner's Office within one year of the license being issued to be officially recognized.  The phone number to the marriage bureau is 702-671-0600 and the fax is 702-455-4929.  According to  the bureau's statistics, every year since 1995, roughly 100,000 marriage licenses have been issued each year in Las Vegas!
