Premium Outlet Mall - in downtown Las Vegas next to the world market.
Outdoor activities in Las Vegas
Red Rock Canyon - offers great hiking and beautiful scenery. There are wild burros(don't feed them!) and other wildlife in abundance.
Mount Charleston - located about an hour outside of Las Vegas, Mt Charleston offers great local skiing and snowboarding during the winter months and an escape from the heat during the summer.
Lake Mead - The lake created by Hoover Dam offers a wide range of water sports and family friendly recreation.
Valley of Fire - this is the oldest and largest state park in Nevada and is located about an hour's drive outside of Las Vegas.
