Boulder City Real Estate
Boulder City is best known as the city that was created for the construction of Hoover Dam. Boulder City housed over 4,000 workers during the construction of Hoover Dam, which lasted from 1931 to 1935. Boulder City, Nevada, a place of parks and small town values was created out of the arid desert by the government a few miles from Henderson. Just 23 short miles from glittering Las Vegas, the "reservation" of the 1930's has evolved over the decades. There are also two golf courses in Boulder City.The city municipal pool is open year round (covered & heated in the winter) and there are several parks and local hiking trails.
Boulder City is home for several cultural and sporting events throughout the year. The Boulder City Fine Arts Festival, featuring local artists from the surrounding area, classic car shows, the Lake Mead festival of lights and many others.
